Former Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Colin Powell died on Monday morning due to complications from COVID-19, his family announced.

  5. Hate to speak ill of the dead. But one cowardly (and prolonged) LIE in 2003, caused the unnecessary and criminal deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians. Not to mention thousands of American service-people. And for what???

    For Dick Cheney’s bank account and oversized ego.

    There have been between 184,382 and 207,156 Iraqi civilians killed by direct violence since the U.S. invasion.

    I will not cry for him.
