One of the major things the Trump phenomenon has revealed is the degree to which rich people can game the system. If you can afford to hire a small army of lawyers, you can delay many legal procedures for years.

  3. I think he has upward of 200 million + raked in from rube donations to use on lawyers. Maybe twice that…since of course nobody can tell what he has swindled and stashed away and kept in reserve. You thought he could abuse the legal system back when he was paying with his own money…

  4. Seems like the jurisdiction issue is a red herring, as any court that could potentially find against T**** would have questionable jurisdiction. Thing is, even T**** judge appointees are finding against him.

So what do the legal eagles on TPM have to say about this, anyway? Is there standing/jurisdiction or is this one of many stalling tactics?

  5. And how does this hypothesis jibe with Drumpf’s current status of (a) not being Preznit no more, and (b) being represented in today’s proceeding by a nobody with a work address above a Lebanese restaurant in Virginia?
