In a Fall 2011 Dashboard update for Xbox 360 consoles, the system’s entire user interface is set to receive a revamp to visually align it with Windows 8, Electronista reports.

Windows 8’s conceptual “guts,” which revolve around icons called “Live Tiles,” seem to be seeping into all of Microsoft’s products.
It’s all part of a visual paradigm called the Metro User Interface that began with Windows Phone 7 almost two years ago.

Along with the new interface, Xbox 360’s fall update will make the system entirely navigable using your body via Xbox Kinect.
