Rick Perry is continuing his $175,000 introductory media buy in Iowa with another positive ad this week, again touting his job creation record. Perry’s second television ad also indirectly targets President Obama.

“If you’re looking for a slick politician or a guy with great Teleprompter skills, we already have that – and he’s destroying our economy,” Perry says to the camera.

“I’m a doer, not a talker,” Perry adds, before reeling out his “Texas Miracle” talking points on job growth.

With just two months until the Iowa caucuses, Perry is struggling to boost his standing among GOP voters in the state. The latest polls show Perry’s campaign flagging at just seven percent — leaving the Texas governor trailing Michele Bachmann by a point and tied with Newt Gingrich.
