Confirmation Bias

For about a month now, guardians of conventional wisdom have read just about every piece of political news, significant and trivial, as a disaster for the Obama campaign. Now along comes new polling data that suggest President Obama has actually widened his margins over Mitt Romney in key swing states.

Shut It Down!!!

Romney camp is apparently pressing the Washington Post to retract the story which reported that his companies were ‘pioneers’ in outsourcing.

As we’ve seen, the Obama camp clearly feels like this is a great line of attack against Romney. And the Romney camp must think so too. But this also brings the Romney team back to arguing over the difference between Romney being an ‘outsourcer’ or an ‘offshorer’, which is just a bad place to be for any campaign.

This is worth watching. Will be interesting to see if the Post folds.
