The Santorum campaign is confirming that it is behind the robocalls urging Michigan Democrats to stick it to Mitt by voting for Rick.

Earlier we reported that Rick Santorum’s campaign is running a robocall calling on Michigan Democrats to cross into the GOP primary and vote for Rick Santorum. We now have two new polls from Michigan in tonight. One has Santorum up by 1, the other has Romney up by 2. The latter, however, shows a strong move in Santorum’s favor since the pollster last survey four days ago. The upshot is basically a deadlock.
The latest (final?) TPM Poll Average of the race is Romney 37.5%, Santorum 36.9%, Paul 11.6%, Gingrich 8.7%.
