Okay, as I said earlier, I thought the other Gov. Walker “Downfall” parody video was just like a B, at best. There’s so much color and clever detail with this story and Walker is such a ridiculous figure that i feel like this “Downfall” parodist just left a lot of parody on the table and sort of weakly tried to compensate for poor tradecraft with gratuitous f–ks and s–ts.
But Eric Kleefeld has just unearthed another “Downfall” parody tied specifically to the “Koch” crank call.

I’m not sure what the “attraction of the demon” refers to. But one of the out-of-state Indiana Dem legislators, State Rep. Pat Bauer (D), tells TPM that Scott Walker has it. But the governor in his state, Mitch Daniels doesn’t.

I didn’t vote for Walker, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He made a concrete promises on new jobs created during his term, and the governor-as-cheerleader can be effective in creating a positive business climate. I looked at his tax proposals with interest to see if they would benefit my business.

That’s what the Times seems to be suggesting today.
I hadn’t heard that take on it. But I’ve heard something else from within the Fox-associated, right-wing-mediasphere. Basically a lot of chatter to the effect that as great as Beck has been in business terms, there’s a pretty total appreciation at Fox corporate at this point that he’s completely crazy — as in more than the normal run of Fox News personalities — and that they know that something either really awful or incredibly embarrassing will inevitably happen … and probably in the pretty near future.
But as long as the dollars and viewers are coming? Well …
