HIRING: Tech Reporter

TPM is hiring a second tech reporter to write for the TPMIdeaLab section of our site. This is a full-time position based in our New York City headquarters.

Candidates must have at least two years relevant reporting and writing experience and be ready to work at the fast-paced metabolism of a new media news organization. An addiction to getting the story and getting it right, a real familiarity with TPM and strong news judgment are each a must. We are looking for someone who understands the “serious” tech policy questions while also being fully in touch with the “gee whiz” factor of tech and retaining the ability to marvel at the frontiers of science.

Competitive salary, health insurance coverage (TPM pays 100% of premium), 401k, three weeks paid vacation per year. To apply, send a resume and cover letter to our comments email address at the upper right hand corner of the site. Include the subject line: “Job App: Tech Reporter.”
