The Election Starts Thursday

Make no mistake: the 2012 election starts next Thursday. My point isn’t to be over-dramatic or say that any die will be irrevocably cast. The Great Debate

If you listen to the establishment press the president’s speech will determine whether the president listens to “liberals” and ditches the move toward economic austerity or “moderates” and Republicans and sticks to budget cutting. Tomorrow’s Gizmos Await

MIT is creating a new R&D lab to speed development of graphene for industrial uses. Graphene is an ultra-thin nano-material that scientists and technologists believe will revolutionize everything some computers to internet speeds to solar energy.

Back in June we reported on an international team of researchers who had developed so-called artificial graphene to accelerate research into the material.
