For those of you who are following that story of the Sheriff down in Bossier Parish, Louisiana who’s set up his own citizen militia to fight the terrorists or other enemies if there’s political unrest, our Zack Roth is going to be on MSNBC at 10:45 to bring you the latest — including new claims from the sheriff’s office that they are mobilizing because they believe there were terrorists operating in the parish. In an interview, a department representative told Zack that they believe the terrorists have now departed for more overseas training but could return. Thus the preparation.

Breaking — Shooting Near Pentagon

Three injured in shooting outside the Pentagon Metro station. Few details so far. The Pentagon itself is apparently on lockdown as authorities investigate.

Yet another one. Rep. William Delahunt (D-MA) is the latest incumbent to announce he won’t seek re-election this year. This seat could actually be in play. As the Boston Globe observes, Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) enjoyed his widest margins in his January election in the area that comprises Delahunt’s district.

Latest On The Pentagon Shooting

Still not clear what precipitated the incident outside the Pentagon, but two members of the Pentagon Force Protection Agency reportedly were shot and returned fire, hitting the gunman. All three are hospitalized with what are said to be non-life-threatening injuries. The Pentagon Metro station where the shooting occurred just after 6:30 ET has since reopened.
