Just last week James Dobson endorsed Trey Grayson, the establishment candidate in the Kentucky Republican Senate primary. Now he’s retracted his endorsement and flipped his support to Rand Paul claiming “senior leaders of the GOP” misinformed him about Paul’s positions.

Over the next few days, the Senate will debate and vote on dozens of amendments to the financial reform bill, but there are only four amendments that you really need to pay attention to.

Within the last hour federal agents arrested Faisal Shahzad, a naturalized US citizen from Pakistan, in connection with the failed Times Square bomb attempt. Shahzad was attempting to flee the US at JFK airport when he was arrested. Shahzad was apparently the man who recently purchased the Nissan Pathfinder which was used in the attempted bombing.
