Late Update: It’s all but confirmed. The special counsel’s office just released a “Superseding Criminal Information” in the DC case. That is in all likelihood the abbreviated set of charges Manafort will agree to plead guilty to.  More soon …

Still no official confirmation this morning that Paul Manafort has reached a plea agreement with special counsel Robert Mueller.

TPM’s Caitlin MacNeal is at the federal courthouse in DC, and the sheet of paper posted outside the courtroom still lists this morning’s 11 a.m. ET hearing as a pre-trial conference, not a plea hearing. That doesn’t mean it won’t be used to handle a plea agreement, but no official word as of yet.

The news reporting over the last 15 hours, mostly seemingly coming from the Manafort legal team, suggests a plea agreement is imminent, and FOX News is reporting this morning that it is a done deal.

All the reporting lacks details on the terms of the plea deal and whether Manafort will cooperate.

Stay tuned as things unfold this morning.
