Blasey Ford Wants FBI Probe Into Kavanaugh Allegation Before Testifying

Attorneys for Christine Blasey Ford, the professor who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her when they were both teenagers, sent a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee calling for a FBI investigation into her allegations as a “first step.”

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley had invited Blasey Ford, as well as Kavanaugh, to a hearing slated for next Monday for both of them to publicly testify. Kavanaugh has denied the allegations.
