After Mitt Romney’s rocky start in London, Jon Stewart said the campaign was surely glad to “escape our greatest ally” and get on with the rest of the overseas trip.
But the campaign ran into more trouble when Romney’s traveling press secretary cursed out the travelling press corps at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw. When reporters, frustrated at the lack of opportunities to ask the candidate questions, tried to get Romney’s attention, traveling press secretary Rick Gorka told the journalists: “Kiss my ass. This is a holy site.”
“So, trouble in England for answering questions, trouble in Poland for ignoring questions,” Stewart said Tuesday.
