Colbert Weighs In On Chick-fil-A’s Offensive And Lucrative Business Strategy

Chick-fil-A may have stumbled across a winning business strategy, Stephen Colbert said on Monday. Attach your name to a divisive political position and “wait for the cash to roll in.” After the fast-food chain’s president said the company is against gay marriage, supporters flocked to the restaurant and the company had record sales.

“Or as chickens refer to it, the worst day in history,” Colbert said. He suggested La-Z-Boy start running ads like this: “You know who’s lazy? Mexicans.”

Of course, Colbert added toward the end of the segment, “the real winner in all of this is Jesus.”
