Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) proposed to his girlfriend, Alica Mucci, in the Capitol Rotunda on Monday, according to Politico.

Menendez told his colleagues at the Congressional Holiday ball.

Mucci is a realtor in Paramus, N.J. and is not registered with a political party, according to the Star-Ledger.
