Vice President Joe Biden on Wednesday is expected to swear in Tom Perez as the new secretary of labor. The ceremony is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. ET.
Perez’s nomination was confirmed in July by the Senate, with Democrats narrowly overcoming a Republican-led filibuster.
