David Gregory: ElBaradei Could Be Named Egypt Prime Minister As Early As Today

Egypt’s Mohamed ElBaradei told “Meet The Press’s” David Gregory in a phone call Sunday that he is expected to be named the prime minister of Egypt as early as today and said his country was “falling apart.”

The former head of the International Atomic Energy Agency has been rumored for the position for days.

The presidential office has not yet made an announcement confirming him for the post.

ElBaradei was scheduled to appear on the MTP Sunday morning, but cancelled Saturday evening, saying he had laryngitis and a fever.
