U.S. Expects Russia To ‘Look At All Options Available’ To Bring Snowden Back

The White House made it clear Monday that it expects Russia to “look at all options available” when it comes to sending National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden back to the United States, Reuters reported.

But a spokeperson for the Kremlin said Monday that Russia had no plans to intervene, saying the Snowden matter “is not a question for us.”

White House National Security Council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden also said that the decision to allow Snowden to depart Hong Kong on Sunday “is detrimental to U.S.-Hong Kong and U.S.-China bilateral relations.”

A report Sunday indicated that China made the final call to let Snowden flee Hong Kong.
