News Corp said Monday it has no record that it was notified by the United States government of a subpoena for the phone records of Fox News reporter James Rosen, Reuters reported.

The U.S. government said it notified News Corp of the 2010 seizure of Rosen’s phone records. In response, Nathaniel Brown, a spokesman for News Corp, said that while the media conglomerate doesn’t necessarily “take issue” with the government’s claim, there is no such record of the notification.
