It seems that the opportunity to hang out with Indiana Jones is enough to make even First Lady Michelle Obama giddy.
Hosting a film workshop Tuesday at the White House for the forthcoming Jackie Robinson biopic “42,” Obama couldn’t hide her excitement that she found herself in the presence of Harrison Ford, who stars in the movie.
“I want to thank Harrison Ford — I’ve wanted to say that for a while,” Obama said to laughs, according to an official White House transcript. “So you think you trip because I’m here? I’m tripping out because he’s here.”
Ford plays Brooklyn Dodgers executive Branch Rickey in “42.” It was Rickey who signed Robinson, who broke Major League Baseball’s color barrier.
