BuzzFeed has hired Reuters journalist Peter Lauria to launch the social news site’s new business vertical, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday.
The Journal’s report said that BuzzFeed plans to formally announce the new section Monday, but BuzzFeed editor in chief Ben Smith confirmed the news Friday on Twitter:
