Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-MA) released the first television ad in his campaign for John Kerry’s Senate seat Tuesday, focusing on his working-class background.
Lynch narrates the ad, which describes growing up in public housing, spending 18 years as an iron worker and putting himself through college and law school at night.
“I believe every working family deserves someone fighting for them,” Lynch said in the ad.
Lynch is running against Rep. Ed Markey (D-MA) for the Democratic nomination, who also released his first TV ad Tuesday. The primary is April 30.
