Dale County, Ala. Sheriff Wally Olson told reporters Monday that Jimmy Lee Dykes, who has been holding a young boy hostage in a bunker since last Tuesday, “feels like he has an important story to share.”

When asked by the media, however, Olson wouldn’t disclose exactly what Dykes’ demands are as he continues to hold 5-year-old Ethan hostage. The hostage standoff has largely been shrouded in secrecy leading media to believe Dykes has access to the internet and a television.
