5 Shot In New Orleans After MLK Parade

Five people were shot Monday afternoon in New Orleans, 30 minutes after an annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade passed by the location.

According to WWL-TV news, the New Orleans Police Department said a gunman in a white sedan shot at five teenagers in front of a store on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. near LaSalle St. around 1 p.m.

The injuries are reportedly not life-threatening.
