Announcing his intention to call for the reinstatement of a federal assault weapons ban, President Obama alluded to the Aurora, Colorado shooting spree that took place in a crowded movie theater.
“Weapons designed for the theater of war have no place in a movie theater,” Obama said at a White House press conference.
