Apple Discounts iPad — Not iPad Mini, Nor iPhone — For Black Friday

Apple, the world’s most valuable company by market capitalization, has announced its Black Friday, one-day only discounts, which include $41 off the new iPad fourth-generation ($458 down from $499) and $31 off the nearly two-year-old iPad 2 ($368 from $399). Apple is also offering discounts on other selected items including its new MacBook Pro Retina display (13 and 15-inch models) and iPods, but noticeably absent from the list are the new iPad Mini and the iPhone 5, or the still on-sale iPhone 4S generation, for that matter. The discounts are available online and in Apple Retail Stores.
