David Axelrod, senior adviser to the Obama campaign, said the final days of the campaign are “very emotional,” during an appearance on “Fox News Sunday.” Host Chris Wallace noted that Axelrod has been working with President Obama since he was in the Illinois state Senate, and now they are wrapping up their final campaign.
Axelrod said his relationship with the president is not just a “partnership but a it’s a friendship.”
“It’s a very emotional time for us,” he said, referring to the president’s whole political team.
