IBD/TIPP Tracking: Obama By 1 Point Nationally

President Obama leads Sunday’s edition of the national tracking poll from IBD/TIPP, although his lead has dropped slightly from Saturday. Obama gets 45.4 percent to Republican candidate Mitt Romney’s 44.1 percent, down from a 46.5 percent to 44.5 percent lead for Obama yesterday. “In recent days Romney’s underlying support has firmed, particularly in the Midwest, where he has trailed for much of the last month but now is tied with Obama,” IBD wrote in their analysis.
