Gov. McDonnell: Virginia Will Be Ready For Election Day After Sandy

Gov. Bob McDonnell (R-VA) said that Virginia was preparing contingency plans for election day in the case that Hurricane Sandy causes mass power outages, saying that polling places would get a high priority for getting power returned to them, during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday. “I think we’ll be ready,” he said.
