The contests for New Hampshire’s two Congressional Districts remain close, according to a poll released Thursday from the University of New Hampshire. In the state’s first district, Republican Frank Guinta has taken a slight lead over Democrat Carol Shea-Porter, posting a 38-36 percent advantage.
The state’s second district, meanwhile, saw 35 percent of likely voters side with Democrat Ann McLane Kuster, while 33 percent opted for Republican Charlie Bass.
The poll was conducted Oct. 22-23. The first distrct numbers come from 364 likely voters and had a margin of error of 5.1 percent, while the second district sample is 408 likely voters and had a margin error of 4.9 percent.
