Big Bird made an appearance on Saturday Night Live Saturday this weekend after being mentioned by Mitt Romney during the first presidential debate. Romney promised to cut funding to PBS despite liking Big Bird. Big Bird declined to weigh in specifically on Romney’s comments, saying on SNL that he didn’t want to “ruffle any feathers.”
