Google co-founder and research leader Sergey Brin told Bloomberg TV late Wednesday that the company aims to release a consumer version of the computerized glasses, Google Glass, by 2014.
Brin, who unveiled and demonstrated a $1,500, U.S. developer-only line of Google Glass devices at the company’s I/O conference in San Francisco on Wednesday, also told others assembled at the conference that the consumer model would be “signifcantly” cheaper than the developer version and that neither model would contain advertising, TechCrunch’s Peter Ha reported.
