Speaking at the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials conference in Orlando, Florida, President Obama receivied tremendous applause after touting his administration’s announcement that DREAM Act eligible individuals will no longer be deported.
“The bill hadn’t changed, the need hadn’t changed, the only thing that had changed was politics,” Obama said of the 2010 DREAM Act vote.
