Sen. Scott Brown’s campaign wrote another check in accordance with a pledge he made with Elizabeth Warren’s to minimize the effect of wealthy third-party groups. The deal between the two campaigns is that they will donate to a charity of the other’s choosing half the amount a third-party group spends to benefit one of them. This is the second time Brown has donated to charity; this time because of an ad by the American Petroleum Institute urging Brown to oppose legislation, reports the AP.
