The polls have closed in Alabama and Mississippi. The exit polls show the races as too early to call based on the polls alone.
On CNN, an analysis of the Alabama exit polls suggest numbers of Santorum 34%, Romney 29%, Gingrich 28%, and Paul 6%.
In Mississippi, the numbers suggest Romney 35%, Gingrich 30%, Santorum 29%, and Paul 5%.
Keep in mind, however, that exit polls are dependent on the willingness of respondents to tell pollsters about their votes, and must also be adjusted and weighted as actual results come in.
