On Fox News Sunday, Newt Gingrich offered an obscure reference to the 1920 Republican primary in discussing why he felt Mitt Romney isn’t the inevitable nominee and why he should stay in the race:
“Romney’s probably the weakest Republican frontrunner since Leonard Wood in 1920,” Gingrich said.
