Apple took down its online retail store temporarily late Wednesday morning in advance of an Apple iPad event in San Francisco. “We’ll be back soon,” Apple wrote in a message on the website. “We are busy updating the store for you and will be back shortly.”
The online retail store is where Apple sells consumers its hardware devices, including Mac computers, iPhones and iPads.
Apple, the world’s most valuable company by market capitalization, is widely anticipted to unveil a new version of its hit iPad tablet at the event at 1 pm ET Wednesday.
