Romney Leading Big With Almost Half Of Precincts In

With 44% of precincts reporting in the Florida primary, Mitt Romney has 49%, Newt Gingrich 30%, Rick Santorum 12%, and Ron Paul 7%.

Romney is widely expected to win the race. However, there will not be any network projections of the race until 8 p.m. ET, when the final polls close in the Florida panhandle region, which is in the Central Time Zone.
