Newt Gingrich has released the second of two ads he is running in Iowa this week, reports the Washington Post. Together, the campaign will spend $500,000 on the ads in the final week before the caucuses, a huge bump from what it has previously spent in the state. In the newest ad, “Main Street,” Newt lays out how he will jumpstart the economy and touts the endorsement of Arthur Laffer, architect of Reagan’s economic policy.
