Fox News anchor Sean Hannity will deliver the keynote address at the National Republican Congressional Committee fundraising dinner next month. Officials said the television star would offer them insight into their quest to win back the House of Representatives this fall.
NRCC Chairman Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX) hailed Hannity as fighting for conservative values when announcing his speaking slot for the March 23 dinner at the National Building Museum in Washington.
“As a best-selling author who reaches millions of viewers and listeners on a daily basis, Sean Hannity fights for conservative values and serves as an important voice for our party,” Sessions said in a statement.
“His insight will be invaluable to our Conference, and I look forward to welcoming him to Washington as we prepare for a victorious election cycle.”
The NRCC release says Hannity “has emerged as one of the most prominent conservative voices in the country, currently reaching millions of viewers …” They also note his awards and that he’s authored two New York Times bestselling books.
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) headlined the dinner last year, helping the party raise $6 million.
