Rep. John Boccieri (D-OH) is the latest Democrat to say he received threats surrounding the health care bill.
The Canton Repository reports:
Between the time the House voted on the health care bill late Sunday night and late Monday, the congressman’s offices in Washington, D.C., and Canton received three anonymous threatening voice-mail messages, said Boccieri’s spokeswoman Jessica Kershaw. She said the messages have been forwarded to the FBI and the Capitol Police.
Boccieri, who was one of the Democrats who switched to a “yes” vote on the health bill, told the AP: ”Having flown missions in and out of Afghanistan, I know what it’s like to be in harm’s way. But I never imagined serving in Congress could feel the same.”
