A new Reuters/Ipsos poll shows Democrat Jerry Brown leading Republican Meg Whitman 45%-39% in California’s gubernatorial race.
Whitman, the former CEO of eBay, has spent tens of millions of her own money on the campaign, while Brown, the state’s Attorney General, is looking to regain the office he held from 1975-1983.
The TPM Poll Average for this race has Brown ahead of Whitman 45.3%-40.4%.
