If you thought Sarah Palin’s strange bus tour across the northeastern U.S. is a media circus now, just wait: Reports are coming in that Palin will on Tuesday evening meet up with the PT Barnum of media circuses, Donald Trump.
ABC’s Michael Falcone reports on the details:
Her office reached out to meet with Trump. The two plan to meet in his more than 30,000-square-foot apartment in Trump Tower and later plan to eat dinner together.
Falcone says the dinner will be held at someplace “low-key” rather than “one of New York’s more upscale dining establishments.”
Palin kicked off her bus tour Sunday and has since been cryptic about what it means or even where it’s stopping. Reporters from major media outlets have been trailing Palin for days, scooping up what little nuggets of information they can find. News of the Trump-Palin meeting was tweeted by a couple of reporters Tuesday afternoon.
