Herman Cain said his remarks this weekend about an electrified fence along the Mexican border was a joke. But the audience he described the plan to was doing more cheering than laughing.
“We’ll have a real fence: 20 feet high, with barbed wire. Electrified. With a sign on the other side saying, ‘It can kill you,'” Cain said.
Cain has been hitting a similar line in his tours around the country, even throwing in an alligator-filled moat.
