NBC Poll: GOP Support For Trump Jumps 6 Points In One Week To Reach New High

Donald Trump hit his highest level of support in a weekly NBC/Survey Monkey tracking poll this past week, earning 56 percent support from Republican and Republican-leaning voters.

Support for Trump jumped six points since the previous week’s NBC/Survey Monkey online tracking poll.

Support from Republicans for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) dropped four points to 22 percent and support for Ohio Gov. John Kasich dropped three points to 14 percent.

The NBC/Survey Monkey poll was conducted online April 25-May 1 and released on Tuesday. NBC/Survey Monkey surveyed 12,462 registered voters with a margin of error plus or minus 1.2 percent and surveyed 3,479 registered Republican voters with a margin or error plus or minus 2.2 percent.

    It’s like supporting that drunken relative (everyone has one) who “speaks his mind” (jokes about his penis all evening/says he would date his daughter/personally insults everyone in the room…etc), but who the hell wants him to be president?
