Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump lead in support among the nation’s likely GOP primary voters in a Fox News poll released Wednesday.
Trump had 26 percent of voters, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson had 23 percent, and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) each had 11 percent.
Carson previously led Trump in two different, national polls.
The Fox News poll is expected to be the last national survey that will be considered to determine who will qualify for the Fox Business Network debate Tuesday. The window of qualifying polls was slated to end Wednesday at midnight.
The poll was conducted from Nov. 1 to Nov. 3 over phone interviews among 1,230 registered voters. The poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 4.5 points.
Seems like less that 1/3 of the GOP has decided which Lesser Evil they will choose. My guess is that Carson’s creed and color will peel away support from the GOP base and leave Tronald as the Rich White Guy they all crave. The last RWG just didn’t have the crazy cred that Tronald does … that will be the engine of his drive to VICTORY for the Fatherland … er, I mean to make America great again!!
Maybe wishful thinking, but I think Carson has peaked. That side of the Republican Party always made way more noise than warranted for its actual size. For Trump to pull away, however, he’s going to need contenders out of the race.
Exposure of his foibles is what is going to do Carson in. Storing grain in solid pyramids?
I just can’t wait to vote for… not this guy —
