Clinton Stands Three Points Ahead In National Poll

Hillary Clinton maintains a three-point lead over Donald Trump, the same lead she held in July, in a national poll of likely voters by Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald.

Clinton leads Trump, 44-41, in the poll, with Libertarian Gary Johnson polling at 8 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein trailing at 3 percent.

Clinton held the exact same lead, 44-41, in July in the most recent Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll, with Johnson at 7 percent and Stein at 2 percent.

The Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll was conducted by RKM Research from Aug. 31-Sept. 4. The survey included 1,025 national likely voters over the phone, and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percent.
