Hillary Clinton holds a five-point lead over Donald Trump in Michigan, according to a new poll by Emerson College.

Clinton leads, 45-40, with Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson at 7 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein at 3 percent among likely Michigan voters.

A previous Michigan poll, conducted by Suffolk University, shows Clinton holding a similar lead, 44-37, in the state.

The Emerson College poll was conducted Aug. 25-28 through an automated survey of landline phones only. The survey included 800 likely Michigan general election voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.4 percent.

TPM’s PollTracker Average for Michigan shows Clinton leading Trump, 44 to 38.9.
