Clinton Leads Trump By 1 Point In New National Quinnipiac Poll

Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by one point among likely voters in a national Quinnipiac University poll released on Monday morning.

Clinton leads Trump 47-46 in a head-to-head matchup, down from her five-point lead, 48-43, over Trump in a Quinnpiac poll of likely voters released on Sept. 14.

When third party candidates are added to the question, Clinton still leads Trump by one point, 44-43, with Libertarian Gary Johnson at 13 points and Green Party candidate Jill Stein at 4 points. In the Quinnipiac poll released on Sept. 14, Clinton led Trump by two points in a four-way race, 41-39, with Johnson at 13 points and Stein at 4 points.

TPM’s PollTracker Average shows Clinton leading Trump 46.2 to 45.6.

Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,115 likely voters via phone Sept. 22-25 with a margin of error plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.
